Dr. Debbage recently spent over a week at the Department of Economics, Geography, Law and Tourism at Mid-Sweden University in Ostersund, Sweden He was a Guest Speaker for a week long doctoral seminar in Tourism and Human Geography that attracted students from all over Europe. He also presented a colloquium sponsored by the European Tourism Research Institute titled “Aviation Carbon Emissions, Route Choice and Tourist Destinations: Are Non-Stop Routes a Remedy?” – the talk included a large on-line audience from across Mid-Sweden University and beyond.
