James Blount headed to University of Delaware’s Climatology Ph.D. program

James Blount, a 2019 graduate from GES, has been accepted to Delaware’s prestigious climatology Ph.D. program. As the first in his family to attend college, James credits the support of Drs. Hall-Brown, Lennartson, Royall, Knapp, and Sultana along his path to first the B.A. and the M.A. in Applied Geography. James writes, “I never thought I could even attempt to get a PhD, yet thanks to everybody I am about to start that goal in a week. Words fail to express my gratitude to everyone for your help over all these years and hopefully I will have as positive of an impact on someone else’s life as you have had on mine.” Congratulations to you, James, as you continue your educational journey at UDel!
