Russell Smith (PhD 2007) recently had his work featured on the prestigious UK London School of Economics daily blog on American Politics and Policy. The blog was titled “Cities of Color Are a Growing Trend in America” and was based on his work published in State and Local Government Review and Urban Geography. He is currently an Associate Professor of Geography at Winston Salem State University.
