John Nowlin has recently been hired as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Geospatial Technologies, in the Agriculture Department at Arkansas State University. He has previously taught for our Geography Department. John will be developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate, introductory through advanced courses in Geographic Information Systems, GPS for Precision Agriculture, and Remote Sensing. These will include courses he designs, and the currently listed courses: Agriculture Spatial Technologies; Fundamentals of GIS/GPS, Advanced GIS for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Remote Sensing and Advanced Geographic Information Science. John’s dissertation advisor was Dr. Rick Bunch. Congratulations, John!
