Dr. Evan Goldstein receives new NSF funding

Dr. Evan Goldstein has received a grant from the National Science Foundation to support his project “COMET: the Coastlines and people Open data and MachinE learning sprinT.” This project seeks to harness open data and free open source analysis tools to produce quick turn-around open science, open data, and machine learning findings related to topics at the intersection of Coastlines and People. The goal of this research is to develop and test a generalizable and transportable method to accelerate the pace of scientific discoveries.
