Welcome to the Department of Geography, Environment, and Sustainability (GES). The Department is committed to bringing a range of approaches and technologies to bear on some of the most pressing questions of our time. GES offers the B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in Geography, the B.A. degree in Environment and Sustainability, and the M.S. degree in Sustainability and Environment (entirely online!). Dr. Aaron Allen, Associate Professor of Music, is jointly appointed in GES as Director of the Environment and Sustainability Programs.
