Dr. Sametz is Project Director and co-PI on UNCG’s National Science Foundation STAMPS program (Science, Technology and Math Preparation Scholarships). Her current research focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education and developing opportunities for UNCG students to succeed at the University. She is the founding director of UNCG’s Research and Instruction in STEM Education Network. Dr. Sametz has extensive experiences in developing university community collaborations and grant writing.
