Dr. Royall’s research interests include watershed sediment budgets, soil erosion, urban stream geomorphology, river channel adjustments to partial avulsion, lake-sediment-based records of environmental change, and fluvial islands. Dr. Royall also has a research background in Quaternary paleoecology and geology.
