Dr. Corey Johnson was recently at the annual meeting of the Association for Borderlands Studies (ABS) in San Francisco where he and his co-author Dr. Reece Jones (University of Hawaii) accepted the ABS Past Presidents’ Gold Book Award for their edited volume Placing the Border in Everyday Life (Ashgate, 2014). This award is presented to a book in the social and natural sciences, and humanities involving original research on borders, borderlands and border regions, and reviewed in the Journal of Borderlands Studies. Congrats to Drs. Johnson and Jones!
