After fifteen years of dutiful service to UNCG and GES, Mrs. Carney will be retiring at the end of this month. The Department honored her service at a reception on December 5th at Oden Brewery. She was joined at the reception by students, staff, and both current and retired faculty, and other members of the Lois fan club, including her husband Ray and daughter Alison. 

 

We are exceedingly grateful to Mrs. Carney for everything she did for the Department, and we will miss her work ethic, sense of humor, and kindness. The Graham Building will not be the same without her.

 

We wish her well as she begins her well-deserved retirement!
