Shannon Brewer, CFM, PMP, works for Dewberry firm and has been promoted to associate vice president and serves as a department manager in the Atlanta office. She has extensive experience managing Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) flood insurance study projects. Additionally, Brewer provides guidance to communities in the areas of floodplain management, flood insurance, and flood mitigation. She earned a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (2000), and is a member of the Alabama Association of Floodplain Managers, Association of State Floodplain Managers, Georgia Association of Floodplain Managers, and the Project Management Institute.
