UNCG was well represented at the 2016 meeting of the Southeastern Division of the American Association of Geographers in Columbia, SC, November 20-21, 2016. Six faculty and sixteen graduate students attended the meeting. MA student Keith Watkins brought home the Best Paper award in the Master’s category, and Ph.D. candidate Tommy Patterson took second place in the Photo Contest, and Tommy was also a member of the North Carolina Geography Bowl Team, which took first place defeating South Carolina in the final round.
